Her advanced skillset includes conducting comprehensive psycho-educational assessments, functional behavior assessments, behavior support plan development and ABA-strategy implementation, navigating complex IEP and 504 processes, participating in manifestation determination meetings and litigious IEPs, teacher and parent consultation, leading dynamic teams of mental health professionals, staff professional development, and providing evidenced-based individual and group counseling to children and adolescents. She is a fluent Spanish-speaker and is able to complete comprehensive bilingual assessments. Crystal has much expertise in working with individuals possessing an array of strengths and needs and is particularly skilled at assessing and developing targeted interventions and counseling lessons for students with learning disabilities, autism, ADHD, and emotional disturbance/mental health issues (e.g., depression, anxiety, trauma, etc.). Collectively, her multiple credentials, certifications, specialized continuing education, and diplomas have strengthened her passion for serving students and families to ensure that they receive the tailored interventions and support they require to thrive academically, socially, and behaviorally in a variety of settings.
